Horse racing tipster, Donald KeysHowdy, partners. Goodwood racing. I love it. If you remember last time I attempted Goodwood races I was 5/6 and what a day that was. Can we reach such giddy-up heights again? We'll only know by giving it a go so let's get our heads down and crack on. I'll tell you a little secret first about Goodwood:  Right handed. Flat. This course undulates but has easy turns and suits galloping horses.

1.55 Let's start with an each-way shout in Madame Hoi. The Racing Post will suggest it's not quite good enough to win and I'd possibly agree but there's a chance. The ground should be fine, distance fine... enough ticks here for me. It'll place. Maybe. Just run the right way is all we ask. It's @ 6/1 with bet365 and 8.2 @ betfair and 2.24 to place also @ betfair.

2.25 I quite the look of Palmetto Point to place @ 2.10 on Betfair and 5.7 to win. Plenty of positives and I'd be surprised if it isn't thereabouts. Hopefully that doesn't mean 4th. No, no. Positive thinking boys. This will claim a place. It's a consistent animal. Consitently thereabouts and that's enough for Donald Keys and his mighty gunch. Let's also have a little faith in Dispatch Box  - currently @ 2.94 to place. Don't blame me. Blame the Keys hunchuition. Merrymadcap is pretty fancied I should mention. It looks not bad but my saliva glands aren't really in overdrive.

3.00 Difficult to see past the short priced favourite, Heads Down but you should know by now that I don't want to give you that! No siree. It's a decent e/w shout I intend to hunt out and I may have just spotted one in, Norworneva @ 20/1 bet365 and currently 14.5 @ betfair. Difficult to tell you why other than I trust my hunchuition at Goodwood usually. I think when you take away the first 2 or 3 in the betting it's all very tight so I'm willing to gamble on this beast running a blinder and having place potential. It currently exists within a state of place potentiality. Ohhmmmm.

3.35 Again, I'm scrubbing the odds on favourite (1.61? No thank you). No. We can do better than that. The gunch is armed and ready and it's tingling everytime I look at... well, none of them. This is a real toughy. A lottery even. Which means it's time for a bit of a gamble with Benedetto @ 16/1 with betfred and 18.00 @ betfair - decent e/w shout that one and not such a good e/w shout is Kashmina @ 25/1 - they aint great but to be honest, being rubbish is going to be enough to place I think. Yes, sometimes rubbish is good. It's the rubbish paradox.

4.10 Let's see you pick a winner from this lot then. Oh wait. That's my job. And I'm bloody good at it so slap my hunch, tickle my gut and call me a bad little boy as I'm going for.... hmmm. Buddy Holly looks good for a place @ 2.58 betfair. 6/1 for the win everywhere. Can it win? It probably can. Will it? I'll tell you after the finish. I also quite like the look of Dubia Petal to place @ 4.4 betfair - 10/1 for the win at bluesq and 15.5 currently @ betfair. It's a gamble that one - will it like this ground? I cannot say until the finish. If yes, place potential.

4.45 Crystal Glazer looks interesting with Richard Hughes up. Just under evs to place @ betfair @ 1.99 and 5.6 to win which it's already done only start at Goodwood which is a plus. Could be losing out in this one but a place isn't out of the question. Is it? I really wish I knew.

5.15 Tight, tight, tight. This one is, you know? Tight. Total coin flipper this. I could pick any of them really. But we have to decide. The gunch and I. Thought Is Free is too short for me but it looks okay. Siren Sound @ evs on Betfair to place is about the only thing catching my hunch at the moment. So we'll go with that and a gamble on Cosmopolitan @ 7/1 bet365 - it might nick something. Something not overly rubbish.

5.50 Can I see Go Amwell placing? Yes sir, I can. Can I see it winning? Different question that. It's a possible. Loves ground and loves this ground. Enough Donald Keys ticks to make me want to back it in some capacity. It's @ 6/1 with Paddy Power and worth a shout. Coda Ageny almost tempted me but just a little too gambly and too short priced.

And that my friends, is that. Goodwood racing tips delivered to your eyes, for free. What kind of day am I expecting? I'll be honest with you. I've not had the same positive vibes lately when looking at the racing cards which is perhaps due to the lack of positive vibes in my real life. Oh yes. It's all connected. Everything. Reality is created with thought so keep it positive. Time to call upon my old pals for help. Take it away boys......
